Rather than merely renovated, this free standing Victorian has been completely re-born behind its timelessly attractive period image. The key for this proposal was light-filled spaces and the clever use of design to provide ultimately a 4 bedroom dwelling with study and two on site garaged car spaces to compliment this generous family home. Suited to the entertainer, the use of the site for indoor to outdoor integration was essential whilst stealing available light through the use of side courtyards and access ways. This was achieved whilst always paying homage to the existing Heritage facade through recessed upper levels and integrated roof elements, all of which respect the adjoining dwellings and greater streetscape.
